Welcome to the first installment of questions from up and coming author Collier Jennings. Collier (aka CJ) will be delivering the Burning Questions section now. You can also find him at CJ’s Corner on Facebook with plenty of other creators and fans just talking about comics. We’re going to start off with two questions from CJ and they range from “first” to “worst.” Have a look, leave a response, and enjoy.
1) What is the first comic book or graphic novel you ever read?
2)What is the WORST comic book you’ve ever read?

1.) I really think the first that I can remember that had real lasting affect was Groo the Wanderer, by Sergio Areggones. He still kills me and really am enjoying his new “Funnies.”
2.) Worst? I tend to not finish bad work. Too much good stuff out there to waste time on bad stuff. Hmm…maybe the NEXT by Tad Williams. It’s what happens when a novelist tries comics, he had about 400 wds/page. Way too text heavy. The story was cool but there ought to be a parity between words and images.
